Web site update and pics

Just want to make a suggestion or comment in regards to the website. I know its a task to keep the website updated but it is very vital to our club to have the information up as soon as possible. Right now this is our main portal to the public other than the brief mention on the news and in the news paper. We are not getting much coverage from other local sites as we did before(ex.bermynet,black&coke). I think that we need to take full advantage of what we have and get as much information ...

Hey Everyone,

Just wanted to update everyone on Tim and Fluff... Both riders are OK!! After being checked at the hospital both riders were released and seperate times... sore from the crash.. bruised.. but both riders are OK!

Thank god for keeping them safe after such a terrible incident. Thank St. Johns Ambulance and the EMT's who assisted these riders, giving them the care they needed and transporting them to the hospital in a timely manner!

Just a reminder to all riders that the first un-official race of the season will be held THIS SUNDAY at the Bermuda Motor Sports Park in Southside, St. Davids. The event will be held as a fund raiser in aid of the St. John Ambulance who volunteer to support our sport with trained medical staff.

Suggested 2008

80cc 2-Stroke

185cc 4-Stroke

Purpose of both introducing 4-Stroke scooters as this is the economic trend as well as increased 2-Stroke cylinder regulations based on market changes. i.e. Production of 80cc (50mm) Performance cylinder as they phase out the 70cc (47.6mm) performance cylinders.

Thoughts?

Toriano test at Laguna Seca on February 26, 2008

Just as an update... Toriano will be testing at the Laguna Seca circuit in California on February 26, 2008. This will be his first time visiting the track as well as riding the KTM GP125... I have asked Tori to update me with his progress while he is taking part in this testing event in preparation for his upcoming 2008 season in the US Red Bull Rookies Cup Series.

250s Should not be in with the 600s unless allowed to be kit up or racings versions allowed. No production base 250 is going to be able beat a street legal 600 regardless of the rider. Its simple math really, all the classes round the world have a 2 to1 ratio. Twice the two-stroke cc for the four-strokes. The GP125 rules have this ratio and the rest of class need to follow. (GP125: up to 125cc single cylinder 2-stroke or 250cc 4-stroke) Lets not complicate the rest of the classes and use this ...

Hmmm i see a very disturbing trend again. 6kph on top end with the ducati so far who knows how much during the race. and at least the yamaha aint that slow this year. 321km/h compared to 327 km/h let there be light sunday is taking too long to get here.

Hey everyone. just thought i'd update on u guys on me on pauls results at daytona (since we aint on tori's level n have ppl do press releases for us ) I did my expert GTU race today and placed 24th due to a lil off track incident and my best time was a 1:50:652. Unfortunately i didnt get any race gas in the mornin so i had to use pump gas and it cost me 30 kph in the banks! Paul placed 22nd in the expert GTO event and also qualified for his ASRA pro race tomorrow with a 1:51.

I got middleweight ...

Back to those dame scooters again. Looking at the updated rule book, I suggest changing the carburetor size to 30mm looking at what most persons are using.

Yesaii I get the first post!! I'm racing in Daytona this weekend and I'll use this forum to post my results. Wish me luck! Also I hope everyone is rooting for Toriano as he is testing his Red Bull bike this weekend in Califoria.

PS - I got my CCS expert license and got a 10th place a couple weeks ago at Homestead and ran a 1:31.5!
